Cheer For Charity

Cheer for Charity (CFC) is a regional cheering tournament which began in 2006 to raise funds for the Nemours Partnership for Children’s Health benefiting the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE. Since its inception, the tournament has raised more than $175,000 for the hospital. CFC has signed a new pledge toward the PICU new addition of $150,000 over five years. Phase I of the project will open in 2014 with single-bed, private rooms; advanced technology; and thoughtful amenities to support patients, families and caregivers.

Over 200 teams compete every year including All-Star, High-School, Recreational, CYM teams. This year’s tournament will also include the Chairman’s Cup award – a fundraising award for the team that raises the most money on Saturday and Sunday.
